I do not understand why this product has such bad reviews. It is exactly the quality I was expecting for the money, in fact it is better than I thought it would be. The wood is particle board, but it is thick and the outside facing panels are nice and heavy so it doesn’t FEEL inexpensive when you touch it. It was not the easiesr to put together, but I put it together alone and it says in the instructions to have two people handy for assembly. It is a little bit darker than the picture shows, but it is also a much richer, warmer cherry color which I found to be a pleasant surprise. It matches my baby’s other cherry furniture from a different, much more pricey brand perfectly. The drawers slide very quietly, and I really like that it can be secured to a wall to make it safe for a small child’s room. I am very happy with this dresser and would recommend it to anyone who doesn’t have or doesn’t want to spend a boat load of money on nursery or kid’s furniture that’ll probably just get ruined anyway.
