We picked this crib witgout seeing it in real life because they were only available for preorder at the time. We ordered it witg the optional changing platform that goes over the crib so that we wouldn’t have to have a separate changing table cluttering up the room. When it arrived, it was easy to assemble and we were thrilled witg our selection. It is simple and beautiful for any modern nursery. Based on the measurements, we had thought the sides of the crib would be too low, but it looks great. We were able to leave the changing platform on the crib all the time for the first year but we now remove it because baby can walk around and could hit his head.
We were also concerned that the changing platform would scuff or scratch the finish on the crib and have been pleased that has not happened. We haven’t gotten any scratches or nicks on the finish in the 16 months that we’ve been using it so far.
