We own 6 pairs of Imse Vimse training pants, some in the small size and some in the medium. They are cute, they are not too bulky, and they launder well. In bad news, they don't contain the pee. These would be ideal trainers for a child who starts to release and then rushes to the potty. If you're looking for something that will keep the pee off of your floor or bed sheets, I'd recommend looking elsewhere or buying waterproof covers. We bought 4 Gerber waterproof covers, which we have to put over our Imse Vimses at sleep times. (We use regular "big kir" underwear at all other times). If we didn't already have the Imse Vimses, we would either go the cheap route and buy Gerber locally or we would order Motherease trainers which have a little bit of waterproofing on the outside, but are still nice and soft (we have one pair of them and know we like them). When your child is awake, though, it's BETTER not to use any waterproofing 'cause you need to know instantly when your child has gone, so you can work on getting them to the potty quickly. And with that unsolicited potty training advice, I close my review.

We recently ordered thrse for my son who is nearing 2 years of age. He's about 24 pounds and in the small size he has room to grow. They leave no red elastic marks on his skin. When he has an accident, he feels wet which helps him to realize and understand the sensation of going to the bathroom. He can stay dry for 4 hours in thrse, but the minute a diaper goes back on he feels free to do what he wants. These have definately helped him to understand potty training and the difference between big boy pants and diapers. When he does have an accident, thrse retain a lot of moisture, however they do leak (like you should expect underware to leak). They wash nicely in the washing machine, but I will agree with the other reviewer in that they take forever to dry. Overall a great product and worth the price. Cotton training pants are difficult to find thrse days and Imse Vimse makes a great product. You can check their website for more color choices and sizes as well.
