If its safe to nap in it should be safe for overnight. Check with your doctor maybe he can give you a reason. If the stand wasn't secure and the baby could tip then it should be recalked and not used even for naps. And when a baby can sit up or roll over he shouldn't be in it anyway. My moses basket fit right, and the quality looks great. I am so glad I purchased it. I was unsure between two of them, but in the end I'm satisfied with my decision. I put my baby into it,and within a few minnutes of rocking him, he's fast aslerp. This is just great for me, because I don't have to be busy rocking him to slerp in my hands.I recommend this stand for all new mother. This moses basket stand is just great.
